Salary: $102,000 - 142,000 per year Requirements:

• We require at least two years of experience working with Epic or similar healthcare software, or at least two years of scripting or programming experience.
• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Social Science, Education, Business, Health Care, or a related discipline, plus at least three years of experience in IT or operations; equivalent work experience may be considered in place of the degree.
• We are looking for strong knowledge of clinical or IT systems and experience supporting safe, high-quality care through electronic health records.
• We value experience with system build, testing, validation, issue investigation, workflow analysis, and technical documentation.
• We seek candidates who can analyze complex clinical and business processes and translate them into effective application solutions.

• We build, test, validate, and support assigned applications on an ongoing basis.
• We analyze application capabilities, workflows, data collection, reporting needs, and technical or clinical issues related to Epic software.
• We document future-state operational requirements, system functionality, and internal procedures for Epic applications.
• We assess clinical and business operations, user preferences, and requested system changes to prioritize and implement improvements.
• We serve as a liaison between end users, third parties, and Epic implementation staff.
• We provide first- and second-level support for enterprise systems by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex incidents.
• We monitor system stability, availability, and performance to identify issues, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• We support technical and project teams in resolving system and application-specific problems and escalate risks as needed.
• We plan and carry out complex system configuration, maintenance, refresh, installation, upgrade, and decommissioning activities.
• We support production and non-production environments, vendor coordination, performance tuning, optimization, and documentation efforts.
• We review new releases, test functionality, and help ensure long-term system reliability and effectiveness.

We are hiring a Systems Administrator III, Health Systems for a fully onsite role at our facility in Greensboro, NC. In this position, we support our Clinical Care and Patient Engagement Technologies organization by delivering advanced Epic application analysis, design, configuration, implementation, optimization, and ongoing support. We work closely with clinical leaders, stakeholders, and cross-functional IT teams to maintain stable, scalable, and effective enterprise healthcare solutions while aligning with organizational standards, Epic best practices, and regulatory requirements.
