• This job is a member of the Accounts Payable Team within the Finance Division.

• ​Responsible for p roviding excellent customer service for American Airlines while processing invoices for payment while ensuring SOX compliance is maintained.

What you'll do

• Performs data entry of invoices directly into SAP
• Performs uploads of payable items into SAP
• Performs identification and validation of vendor to be paid
• Performs audit of approvals to ensure compliance with Resource Approval Policy
• Performs scanning and indexing of invoices and AP documents for visibility to broad user group
• Responds to e-mails in group e-mail box
• Performs a variety of other functions/ad-hoc projects as assigned to achieve the department/company's goals and business objectives

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• ​High School diploma or GED Equivalency

 

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Prior accounts payable experience

• Prior customer service experience

• Prior SAP experience

 

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

• ​ Ability to provide great customer service and   meet deadlines

• E xcellent attention to detail and organization skills
