As a Airport Security Professional - Curbside Patrol in Lihue HI you will safeguard the airport staff and its facilities. Along with driving patrolling checking and securing doors. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal serving a government location you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Position Type: Part Time - Afternoon

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.93. The premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee .

Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License (1 years)
• 21 years of age
• Ability to pass a background check physical and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an airport location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while following post orders and applicable protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals public areas restricted access points parking areas and perimeter locations as assigned.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity unauthorized entry attempts and/or unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Support government location operations by documenting incidents assisting with directions and inquiries and communicating clearly with staff visitors and first responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
