About the Job

We’re hiring a Transaction Coordinator / Front Desk Receptionist / Administrative Assistant for the Sumter, SC area. This is a full‑time, in‑office position ideal for a detail‑oriented, people‑focused professional who enjoys working in a client‑facing administrative role.

This position serves as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, making strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills essential. If you thrive in a professional office environment and enjoy supporting daily operations, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and visitors in a courteous, professional, and welcoming manner
  • Answer, screen, and direct high‑volume incoming phone calls
  • Manage scheduling, appointments, and calendar coordination
  • Provide front desk support and assist with daily office operations
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
  • Maintain reception area and conference rooms in a clean, organized, and professional condition
  • Perform administrative duties including filing, data entry, document preparation, and record management
  • Support attorneys and staff with transaction coordination and clerical tasks
  • Uphold client confidentiality, office procedures, and firm policies at all times

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or higher preferred)
  • Previous experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, office assistant, or transaction coordinator
  • Experience in a legal office, real estate office, or professional services environment is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and office technology
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast‑paced office setting
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
