**Job Title: PRN Circulating Nurse, Operating Room**

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PRN Circulating Nurse to join our dynamic team in the Operating Room. In this role, you will be an integral part of the surgical team, ensuring that each procedure runs smoothly and effectively. Your primary responsibility will be to provide support during surgeries and act as the liaison between the surgical team and other healthcare professionals.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Collaborate with the surgical team to prepare the operating room for procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and sterile.
- Monitor the patient’s condition throughout the procedure, providing reassurance and assistance as needed.
- Document all relevant information related to the surgical procedure in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards to maintain a safe and sterile environment.
- Assist with the proper positioning of the patient in preparation for surgery.
- Facilitate smooth communication between the surgical team, patients, and their families by providing updates and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Participate in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.

**Qualifications:**

- Current RN licensure required.
- Previous experience as a circulating nurse in an operating room setting preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications are required.
- Strong organizational and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle unforeseen situations with professionalism and poise.
