We’re working with a well-established small animal hospital in Ridgecrest, CA that is seeking a Medical Director (DVM) to guide clinical operations and support a collaborative veterinary team. This role offers the opportunity to influence medical protocols, mentor team members, and maintain a hands-on approach to patient care.
AAHA-accredited hospital with a strong reputation for quality care
Leadership role with autonomy to shape medical direction and standards
Collaborative team of 2 veterinarians, 3 RVTs, and 4 veterinary assistants

Digital radiography
Digital dental radiography

Full-time leadership role
Hospital hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
No weekends , supporting strong work-life balance
Small animal medicine (dogs and cats)

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in California
Experienced clinician with leadership or mentorship interest

Salary range: $80,000 – $180,000 (based on experience)
