Job Title: Licensed Health Insurance Agent
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Licensed Health Insurance Agent to join our client to support the delivery of Medicare coverage solutions through consultative phone based sales. This remote, contract to possible hire role focuses on guiding eligible seniors through plan options while meeting daily enrollment goals. The position blends outbound outreach with inbound inquiries, emphasizing quality conversations over call volume. This opportunity is ideal for licensed agents who thrive in a structured, compliance driven environment and are motivated by performance based incentives.
Compensation:
Training period first 4 weeks at $18.50 per hour
After training $20.00 per hour plus bonus opportunities
Work Schedule:
Training schedule Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM EST with video required
After training Monday through Friday with assigned shift between 10:15 AM and 8:00 PM EST
Morning shift assignments require 1 to 2 late shifts per week
Weekends optional with Saturdays potentially required during busy periods and a weekday off provided
Key Responsibilities of the Licensed Health Insurance Agent:
• Deliver Medicare plan guidance to eligible customers through a mix of outbound and inbound phone consultations, focusing on building trust and closing enrollments
• Manage extended customer conversations that may last several hours while maintaining engagement and compliance throughout the sales process
• Consistently achieve daily enrollment expectations by applying structured sales methodologies and effective needs analysis
• Navigate and document activity within required sales and compliance systems to ensure accuracy and regulatory adherence
• Uphold all company and regulatory standards, including Medicare communication rules and enrollment guidelines
Qualifications and Skills for the Licensed Health Insurance Agent:
• Active Health and Accident insurance license in the home state with eligibility for additional non resident licensing support
• At least one year of health insurance sales experience with demonstrated outbound calling exposure or equivalent sales background
• Working knowledge of Medicare products and compliance requirements, including timing and communication rules
• Strong customer service mindset paired with sales drive, self motivation, and comfort working independently in a remote setting
• Reliable home internet service that is not hotspot based and ability to meet background and compliance screening standards
