Engaging Full-Time Nanny Needed in Bedford, NY 

Location: Bedford, NY
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM (40 hours guaranteed)
Compensation: $35-$40/hour, depending on experience

Benefits: PTO and Paid Sick Days
Start Date: Mid-August 2026 (some flexibility for the ideal candidate)
Living Arrangement: Live-Out OR Live-in

A welcoming family in Bedford, New York is seeking a nurturing, experienced, and engaging full-time nanny to care for their sweet, almost 2-year-old daughter. This is a wonderful opportunity for a career nanny looking to become a valued, long-term part of a family's life.

Both parents are actively involved. Dad owns his own business and works outside of the home, while Mom works remotely and may be in and out throughout the day. They are looking for a nanny who is confident working independently while maintaining open communication with the parents and creating a loving, structured environment for their daughter.

The family values kindness, dependability, professionalism, and someone who genuinely enjoys helping children learn, grow, and explore the world around them.

Children: One 2-year-old daughter
Pets: None
Household Staff: Professional cleaning service weekly

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, loving, and developmentally appropriate care throughout the day
• Plan engaging activities that encourage learning, creativity, language development, and independent play
• Take the child on outings including walks, playgrounds, library programs, classes, and other age-appropriate activities
• Maintain a consistent daily routine, including meals, naps, and enrichment
• Prepare simple meals and snacks for the child
• Clean bottles, dishes, and any kitchen items used during the day
• Keep the child's bedroom, playroom, and belongings organized and tidy
• Complete the child's laundry from start to finish
• Ensure the child's spaces remain clean, organized, and safe
• Communicate with parents regarding milestones, routines, and daily updates
• Travel domestically with the family

Requirements

• 5+ years of recent nanny experience with toddlers
• Excellent verifiable references
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Comfortable with domestic (and possibly international) travel
• Looking for a long-term commitment with one family

Compensation & Benefits

• $35-$40/hour, depending on experience
• Guaranteed 40-hour work week
