Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Support corporate accounting and financial reporting activities
• Prepare and maintain accounting work papers, disclosures, and accounting memos
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, FASB regulations, and SOX requirements
• Analyze financial data and provide accurate reporting and documentation
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting processes
• Support internal and external audit activities and compliance reviews
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes through technology and automation
• Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
• Maintain high standards of quality, integrity, and professionalism in all accounting activities

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Accounting principles, GAAP, FASB standards, and SOX compliance
• Experience preparing accounting documentation, disclosures, and technical memos
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Financial reporting and audit support experience
• Ability to evaluate complex financial data and exercise sound judgment
• Experience leveraging technology to improve operational efficiency
• Effective project management and organizational skills
• Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities
• High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
• Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent required
• CPA preferred
• 2–4 years of accounting experience within a large public company or auditing large public companies
• Experience with financial reporting, compliance, and accounting operations
• Demonstrated understanding of accounting regulations, controls, and best practices
