Job Summary:

The Content Specialist is responsible for leading comprehensive content management activities including auditing, taxonomy development, migration planning, content categorization, metadata organization, readability grading, and cross-team coordination to support the NYMTC platform.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct content audit of over 4,000 pages and nearly 1,800 documents.
• Develop taxonomy and metadata strategies to organize content effectively.
• Plan and execute content migration using both automated and manual methods.
• Validate content accuracy and relevance post-migration.
• Provide editor and administrator training on content management processes.
• Create and maintain editorial documentation and governance frameworks.
• Analyze and grade content readability to ensure quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cohesive content plans.
• Manage multimedia content including images and videos.
• Deliver key documentation such as content inventory, migration mapping, editorial guidelines, content governance framework, and style guide.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Minimum of 2 years experience auditing complex website content.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Certified Content Strategist certification.
• HubSpot Content Marketing certification.

Special Considerations:

• Must be capable of managing a large scope content migration project.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
