About the Role

North Co Commercial Cleaning is hiring two reliable cleaners for a recurring commercial cleaning job at a retail store in Lakeside Village. Store name is released after onboarding. This is occasional, foot-in-the-door recurring work — not full or part time. Great fit if you already clean and want solid per-visit pay added to your schedule. Cleaners who do good work get steady recurring assignments from us. Soonest confirmed spots win.

This is a 2-person job — read this part

We hire two cleaners separately and you work the store as a team. Each person earns their own full pay — you are not splitting one rate. We prefer the two hires not be related or in a relationship, so there's always coverage. You're welcome to bring your own helper instead, but a helper splits your one spot's pay, and we still hire a second person regardless.

Location, Schedule & Pay (per person, per visit)

- Lakeside Village — Lakeland, FL 33803

- Commercial Cleaning — $55 per person, per visit

- First date: Friday, July 31 — 10:00 AM start (set date — the store sends a manager to let us in, so it doesn't move)

- Recurring every 6 months after that

- About 1.5–2 hours on site with two people working

Pay

- Flat $55 per person, per visit — works out to roughly $27–$37/hour depending on pace. Faster, thorough work raises your effective hourly.

- Check in, before/after photos, and check out all run through our app. That's how the job is tracked and how you get paid.

- Payment averages 24–48 hours after the visit is completed, checked out, and confirmed.

- Parking reimbursed only with a full receipt (date, time in, time out, place, total).

The Work

Sweep, dust mop, and vacuum all floors including corners and edges. Mop hard floors. Remove gum and stickers. Dust shelving, fixtures, ledges, and vents. Wipe down counters and display cases. Empty trash and replace liners. Clean and disinfect the restroom if present. Damp mop office, stockroom, and break room floors. Full detailed checklist provided after onboarding.

Requirements

- Must be 21 or older

- Prior cleaning experience — commercial or residential is fine, as long as you know how to clean

- Reliable personal transportation

- Smartphone for check-in, photos, and check-out

Supplies

Bring your own supplies for a $10 per-visit bonus, or North Co provides them — either is fine. Tell us what you have: all, some, or none.

Commercial Cleaning: vacuum, mop and bucket (or flat mop with extra pads), broom and dustpan and/or dust mop, all-purpose cleaner, disinfectant, glass cleaner, microfiber cloths, dusting tool, restroom cleaner, scrubber or deck brush for heavy build-up. (Trash bags only if the site doesn't supply them.)

Step stool or short ladder: not required, but handy for high dusting — extension pole works fine too.

Dress Code

Slip-resistant shoes recommended (we'll help you get a pair if needed). Clean plain blue or black shirt — branded North Co shirt at 3 months. Jeans or non-athletic shorts — nothing ripped, no sweatpants. Hair tied back, arrive clean and presentable.

Photos & Check-Out

Before/after photos of every area, checked in and out through the app, and the store manager confirms the work before you leave. This is how the job gets tracked and how you get paid fast.

Communication

The #1 priority. Respond promptly, check in and out on time, and tell us ahead if anything changes.
