As a key member of our financial department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. The ideal candidate will be a detail-orientated professional responsible for managing our day-to-day accounting and finance requirements. Responsibilities

* Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
* Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, and collections.
* Conduct monthly reconciliation of all bank accounts and credit cards.
* Prepare and process payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
* Generate financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements, by collecting, analysing, and summarising account information.
* Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
* Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
* Assist with the preparation of tax returns and year-end financial procedures.

Qualifications

* Proven experience working as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
* Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office, particularly Excel.
* A high degree of accuracy and exceptional attention to detail.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
* Excellent numerical and data entry skills.
* The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
* A relevant qualification in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping is highly advantageous.
