Compensation: Base rate or flat rate, whichever is greater. Responsibilities * Use shop equipment such as lifts, welders, diagnostic equipment, etc. with confidence and in accordance with all safety procedures * Expertly diagnose issues based upon experience, analysis, and testing * Maintain leading-edge knowledge of automotive diagnosis technology, digital manuals, and reference materials * Leading or training others, less qualified, technicians in maintenance/repair activity when required * Perform routine service inspections, test, and lubricate engines and other major components

• Possess an increasingly broad knowledge of how vehicles' complex components work and interact

Repairing automobiles and light trucks that run on multiple fuel sources * Adapt to rapidly changing technologies in the automotive industry, as well as in the diagnostics arena * Know and adhere to safety and environmental standards for maintenance/repair facilities * Other duties as assigned. Ability to perform job requirements of lifting 75lbs or more, long standing hours, bending, twisting, climbing, and forward reaching.
