Job Description

Description: 

Prepares aircraft exterior surfaces for painting by performing surface preparation, paint removal, masking, priming, and finishing operations. Applies prescribed primers, coatings, finishes, and external markings to aircraft sections in accordance with specifications and quality requirements. Supports paint stripping and refinishing activities while maintaining production and safety standards.

*1st Shift, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Must be open to future 2nd Shift assignment)
*Tools: Not Required
*Must be a U.S. Citizen

#Education & Job Requirements
*High School Diploma or GED equivalent
*2 years of experience in application and removal of aircraft paint coatings, adhesives, and sealants
*1 year of related aircraft painting experience
*Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
*Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

*Applies prescribed primers, paints, and finishes to aircraft exteriors
*Installs aircraft finishes and external markings on aircraft sections
*Removes existing coatings, adhesives, and sealants as required
*Supports refinishing activities in accordance with production requirements
